Positive: I loved to discover and learn about the historical aspect of this hotel and the city of St. Cloud. Also, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Cute little town filled with friendly people.

Positive: The rooms at the hunt arms were not consistently the same. We did have to request to be moved from our initial room to another room due to the condition of the bathroom. There have been some updates, but many more need to transpire for it to be truly an excellent place to stay.

Negative: One thing we didn’t like about the property is that the plumbing was so old they were not able to provide hot water to the rooms while taking a shower. Also the bathtubs in each of the rooms that we went into or delaminating and flaking off, which made it unpleasant to look at. The air-conditioning units were old units in the window and we’re unsightly.

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this unique and historic hotel. There’s always room for growth in my opinion.

Positive: The hotel embraces is 100-year-old history. If you want 5-star service and amenities, this is not the hotel for you. If you want a genuine representation of what hotels were like 100 years ago, this is the hotel should be on the top of your list. It was absolutely amazing. The location in downtown St. Cloud was great. The nearby shops and restaurants were wonderful.
